Hey everybody!! Welcome back & thanks for reading my blog! Ok, NOW, lets get to todays topic: The Power of the Pussy. I wasn't even thinking about this until I was surfing the channels last night only to come across a movie called "The Other Boleyn Girl". I had seen the movie about 3 times before but it's on my favorites list, so I tuned in...again. About 15 minutes into the movie, I became "under the influence", if you will, and it made my movie watching experience a lot different than usual. As I was watching, I realized things that I didn't pay too much attention to before. Before, I explain my point, here's a synopsis of the story:
So, long story short, there are 2 sisters vying for the affection of the King to please their family. The younger sister, Anne Boleyn, was arranged to become King Henry's mistress (yes, he is married to a Queen) but he ended up falling in love with the already betrothed Mary Boleyn. Shortly before Mary becomes pregnant, Anne marries a nobleman without King Henry's consent. Their brother tells Mary who then tells their father and uncle for fear of Anne ruining her reputation. Anne is then sent to exile with the Queen of France. Mary is then sent on bed rest after she almost suffers a miscarriage. Anne is sent for from France to keep the King's attention while her sister goes through the pregnancy.
King Henry becomes absolutely lustful after Anne but Anne continues to lead him on. At first, he doesn't sweat her but the more she says no, the more he yearns for her attention. He sends her gifts whilst in her sisters company, he shows her affection in front of his Queen and I mean the dirty laundry is just aired in all types of ways! But, the King didn't care because he wanted Anne so badly. On the day that Mary gave birth to King Henry's SON, he was temporarily distracted from Anne because of him FINALLY having a male heir. This excitement is quickly turned away from her newly born nephew when Anne makes the King PROMISE to NEVER bed or speak to his wife, the Queen or her sister Anne in exchange for HOPE that he'll get a chance to have sex with her.
As the movie goes on, she still continues to with hold her sexual favors to get what she desires, ultimately making the King do the following:
1.Break from the Roman Catholic Church because the Pope wouldn't annul his marriage to the Queen
2. Declare himself the Supreme Governor of the Church of England
3. Divorce his wife, the Queen
4. Make Anne queen
And this is where my explanation of the movie ends. Now, how the HELL did she make him do ALL of these things JUST by holding out on having sex with King Henry?? Is it truly the "Power of the Pussy" or was he just hella foolish? I think that it's both! Even though a lot of men claim to be on the mentality of "I don't love them hoes, get money", etcetera, etcetera, I believe that if the hoes would STOP being hoes and learn how to keep it in their pants, they would be highly favored by the men who pursue them.
And of course,, the world doesn't work like that; there will ALWAYS be hoes. But, there are a lot of women who have men who treat them(emotionally, physically and materialistically) in exchange for their affection, a spot over all the other men in that woman's life. I have a friend who's mother has a few male friends who "help her out" because they want her and her time and attention and maybe more. I've actually witnessed how she interacts with the guys. To sum it all up, she doesn't stomp her feet to get what she wants, she simply makes the man feel like a man....makes him feel in control. And according to "The Other Boleyn Girl", THAT is the art of a woman....the power of the pussy.
Once again, what are your thoughts? Male and Female!!!
